The Wing Lynch model 5
processor is a microcomputer based rotary tube processor. It offers 24 process channels
for E6, C41, C41RA, B&W, B&W reversal, RA4, R3, P3X, Lith and any custom processes
you can think of.
The model 5 will handle up to 11 rolls of 35mm, 6 rolls of 120/220, 12 sheets of
4"x5", 2 sheets of 8"x10" or 1 sheet of 11"x14".
Chemicals are stored in tanks below the processor in either 1 1/3 gallon (5 Litre) or 5 Gallon (19 Litre) tanks or a combination thereof. Each tank is individually temperature controlled and nitrogen blanketed for prolonged chemical storage. Each processor can hold 18 small tanks or 6 large tanks or a combination of small and large tanks. (3 small tanks equal 1 big tank) There is also the option of fitting a satellite cabinet to the processor doubling the amount of tanks.
All this is possible due to the modular construction of its components. This means that even in these changing times we live, the Wing Lynch model 5 can be expanded, reduced or reconfigured to suit the current and future photographic processes.
Standard configuration of the drainage is a separate drain for the chemistry and one for the used wash water. As an option a recovery system is available for either 1, 2, 3 or 4 waste recovery outlets. Each outlet can be configured for one or more chemicals. For example with a 2 recovery outlet machine, one outlet can be used for E6 bleach (to be re-used) and the other for all fixers (since they contain silver). This allows the processor to adhere to the strictest waste regulations in an economic way.
The entire machine runs on low voltage and is battery protected (rechargeable) in case of power failure.

Wing Lynch also manufactures a range of electronic wash water panels for controlling
water temperature for the above processors, or for any other application where highly
accurate and consistent temperature controlled water is needed. The wash water panel will
deliver water at the temperature required to an accuracy of 0.1 Degrees
Celsius or
Fahrenheit (if you are so inclined) Please note : maximum hot water inlet temperature is 65 Degrees Celsius. Also the Water panel runs on low voltage and is battery protected (8 x C size battery, not included) in case of power failure. The Wing Lynch water panel comes in two sizes :
Each one of those water panels comes in four varieties :

About Wing Lynch.
Since 1976, newspaper photographers have used Wing-Lynch processors to deliver dependable processing on a minute's notice. Since the processing chemicals are stored at desired temperature, the Wing-Lynch is ready to go when you are. The compact dimensions allow installation in almost any location, including mobile processing sites in the case of the P2000 processor. For the newspaper that requires C-41 and B&W processing, one Wing-Lynch processor handles them both. The versatility of the Wing-Lynch enables newspapers to run variations on standard processes, such as C-41 RA - especially suited to newspaper work.
Medical professionals have relied on Wing-Lynch processors for documenting medical procedures, creating training material, and processing of special materials that would otherwise require additional equipment. Since hospitals and medical facilities with Wing-Lynch processors have "in-house" processing, they are able to control the chain of custody for confidential and patient-sensitive images. In addition, most hospitals use their Wing-Lynch processors as the centre piece for facility-wide photo lab operations, with all departments "sharing the wealth."
Professional photographers working with advertising accounts may spend days creating a single image, so it's very helpful to see finished results at incremental stages of the project without having to wait several hours each time for an outside lab to process the film. And when it comes to the final take, the results have to be exact. That's why imaging professionals recognize the value of in-house processing with the Wing-Lynch processor. Whether it's a hundred rolls of 35mm slides or a single sheet of 8x10, the Wing-Lynch handles them both (and everything in between). Different formats, different processes, or your own variation of cross-processing is a piece of cake with the Wing-Lynch Model 5 or PRO-6. For a bigger slice of the pie, put a Wing-Lynch to work in your studio.
One of the few things government and industry can agree on is the need for in-house film processing that is in spec and on budget. The Wing-Lynch name is the industry standard for critical E-6, C-41, and black & white processing that stays in spec and on budget in daily operation and maintenance. Whether you are processing film from a space shuttle mission or developing a slide presentation for industry professionals, Wing-Lynch is the name you want in your darkroom.
As the digital revolution comes of age, many of us are finding a place for digital skills, whether it's creating a slide presentation from a Power Point file, or digitizing a film original for use on a web page. With so many applications depending on film for presentations, reproduction, and re-imaging, contemporary photography remains grounded in silver-based film. Whether the need for film processing is in the newspaper, hospital, studio, or factory, Wing-Lynch and digital tools go hand-in-hand to deliver the best of both worlds.
